shhh, I am looking for a direct link (if anyone has one) for a repair/service manual for the Powerbook 500 series. (not the user guide - got that) I am trying to salvage a bunch of 520/520c's into a few good machines for my kids. I have been able to find manuals for many other machines but not this one.

I know this can be a little, ahem, dicey.

    thanks

    SWEET!

Thanks for the link. Grabbed several to add to my collection myself.

you are welcome. Those things are like gold, man. I have bunches - they are particularly valuable for the Powerbooks as Apple seems to rethink the whole thing with every new 'book. If you don't have those teardown instructions all you have left is a pile of broken plastic.

    Arrow Missing Manual BW G3

I'm looking for a service manual for the G3 Blue & White Power Mac. I went to the excellent website suggested above -- whoopis.com/service-source -- but couldn't find the G3 BW listed there. I earlier found another great site that offers downloads of .pdf service manuals -- http://home.wanadoo.nl/manual.man/manuals.html -- but was unable to download the one I wanted although I *could* download others. For two days I've been getting a msg saying couldn't access the server, and there's no contact e-mail address.

At yet another website I found what's supposedly the title of the manual I need -- powermac_g3_blue.white.pdf -- but couldn't locate it through Apple's website or Google.

    Running out of ideas.
