Hi. I have a Mac Pro Mid 2010 model Quad-Core w/38 GB of memory. I want to completely wipe it clean and install a new OS before I get rid of it. However, when I restart holding down the Command R buttons it does not reboot in the Recovery partition. When I check in Terminal I don't see it either. Below is what I see. As a side-note but it may be relevant, whenever I boot up my computer I get a message "The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer". At one time my computer crashed and I replaced the bay drive with the external Bootable HD (a Seagate Barracuda I think) I was using as my backup. What is the best course of action?:
