    Rolleyes Surge Protection

    Hello,

I'm brand new and just got in my 24TB storage system. Was wondering if the unit has built in surge protection or should I hook up to an APC unit already in my office?

    Thanks!

If it's a Burly from MacGurus it does not have built in surge protection.

But that's an idea to think about

Anyway you should get some protection for your shiny new Beast.

You should attach a 4 bay to a UPS. Account for 300 Watts of max power for that unit.

    24 TB. Congrats.

Protection is well worth the cost, if you value your data. UPS is the only way to go.
