    Good question.

Based on the manual images, looks like you need a Molex from the dedicated PSU, an AC power plug (direct to the UPS/outlet), and gain 2 power outlets for supported graphics cards. And the free optical bay to install it in.

Which Mac? Which card(s)? Mac Pros already have two power plugs for full size graphics cards.......so are you sure you need this?

Hi Uncle, Its been a while. I have two xserves that needed a video card upgrade (Mac 2.1/8 core 3.0) and the card thats installed cant keep up with the Final Cut X requirements. I can move the video card outside the box if needed. It has 512MB card installed already but a version which FCX does not support. (OpenCL-capable graphics card or Intel HD Graphics 3000 or later needed.) I would like to replace with a 1GB card instead. I am sure it is possible but would like opinion here. Thanks
