Question After open firmware rest .. no...........

Dropped a "96000PRO PC MAC 256 KIT" in a MDD yesterday.
New! ..... worked great with movies.
    Everything normal.

Changing a couple of things inside the box ..... then I shut- down for the night.

Next day, had my start-up problems again.
    Unplug power cable then re-plug.
Started as normal ....... did an "open firmware " to correct that problem ...... rebooted ..... and got this .... "no color", desktop files/folders all unrecognizable.

"Chit hit the fan", what happened and how do I fix it ??

    thanks, h

Ran in single "safe mode" ..... haf-way thru .... freezes.
Nothing I type has any effect. Only way to make it reboot is to do "a force quit".

Would like to try using "diskwarror" or reinstall "applejack"but can't distinguish anying on the desktop.

NEVER MIND ........ Let the MDD shut-down for half hour ..... when booted everything was back to normal.

I have a "trippy set-up" .... I get rather "trippy" myself sometimes ........ we both "trip together" ..... often!

I just like to ask questions ........ then answer my questions.
.................................... "DANM" ..... just noticed my "bug juice jar" is empty ...... time to go!, h

Glad you fixed it...or waited it out. Doesn't really sound like a software issue.

Likely too much bug juice. Or not enough.
