Default Full Metal 2.5 to 3.5 Drive Converter

Hi, saw this Full Metal 2.5 to 3.5 Drive Converter here in gurus store. Will this fit an Intel Xserve apple drive module tray? Is that possible conversion? I would like more reliability coz we take the xserves on location for editing.
    Thanks again,
    Gerry

The XRAID has ATA parallel connection while the adapter has a SATA connection. It won't work in an XRAID.

Newer XServer with SATA drives can use the adapter. No problemo..

    Hi Rick,
Can I just clone my drive to the SSD for the OS and the rest of the applications? Thanks

Yes, you can clone the operating system and whatever else will fit and select the SSD as the startup drive. No problem.
