To transfer music just create a data DVD and burn mp3 files to it. This requires both macs to have DVD drives

Default This is what I thought...

I think Haz means to take an audio/video file (music video) and pull the audio out/off and put it onto a CD to play as music only. then maybe not

You can - probably. I have never done it and not sure how much work or software needed. People are doing this now with iPrograms like iMove, iDVD... and other vendors.

Probably but that gets into illegal ripping and such and I thought it best to leave that offline.

Good thought If you made it you should know how. If not is it legal?

if you made it did you delete the original files you made the dvd from? that would not seem very smart

    rwm is right.

Give me the information I would use if trying to do that.
I bought the DVDs, so I see them as mine and for my own use.
Ya all could send me an email explaining what is needed to do that.

Not that I would ever try and rip illegally, but am interested in the process.

I basically see playing the songs into a mixer and just extracting
    that way.

    Video into mixer into Itunes.

Anybody going to answer or is "BIG BROTHER" watching?

Still haven't found a application that will work with 10.4.11.
Ones that do are all demos and can't by the license because they aren't supported anymore.

    Any other ideas?

Found this .... aimersoft DVD ripper for PPC.
I'll see if it works out.
So far, it opened on the desktop.
Now to see if I can rip some audio.
