Wow, that's awesome. Having done some stripping in my day, I can see that was quite a job!

.....Not that kind a stripping Rick.

I actually know some web developers that have 3 desks out of pianos just like that. Not refinished though......still pretty rough. Yours looks great!

Can I make a suggestion? Fab some sexy grills for those speakers. Takes away from the awesomeness of the desk.

Damn, you had me going there. Like stripping!

That is one high falutin computer desk. Better'n any i ever seen. Your going to be using big words and stuff when u post now.

FYI: My apologies, I am not going to be around much for the next month. Driving combine for a buddy during wheat harvest. Really late harvest here - kind of a year without summer. Normally we'd be near done already, we have just one day harvesting in so far. Wheat is still green. Great way to get a break away from the desk. Next 25 days will be busy.

Very nice piano, er desk. I can't believe someone painted it let alone green. Some people just don't know what they have. Looks great now. Unclemac has a point about the speakers.

Now if you loaded up some nice piano music on your mac, hit play, closed up the desk, people would think it's a player piano.

    Too much combining of things?

Those speakers are temporary until the drivers come in for my bigger cabinets then those little ones will be gone

I have built a pair of these mainly because I can't afford to buy a pair However I did buy the plans from the company

Jeez dude what a project! Turned out nice though. Makes my converted drafting table look tame by comparison.
