Default Does anyone remember how to associate files in Tiger?

My wife is still using a Powerbook G4 with Tiger installed. Whenever she receives an email with a Word attachment and double clicks on the attachment, Appleworks tries (and fails) to open the document. She has to manually open the file in Word. How can I associate all ".doc" files with Word so that when she double clicks on the attachment it automatically opens in Word? In Leopard I would do this under the Get Info window but Tiger does not seem to have the Get Info command.

Does anyone remember how to do this?

    Thanks.

"Get Info" on a file and you will see several options, including a change all button. Don't have a 10.4 box in front of me........but it's there somewhere.
