Default FYI: Why your system won't boot when you leave the cover off your Mac Pro

I would leave the cover off my Mac Pro (Early 2008) to trouble shoot (saves time... ) and then wonder why the computer wouldn't boot even though the internal memory lights came on and the eSATA card fan came on...?!?

Answer: You have to flip the cover locking lever down even though the cover is off, in order to engage the hard-drives.

    Thumbs up Good to know!

I think I've read that before, but the sort of thing one would forget and cause some serious hair pulling.
