Default LYCeSATA-4e & Burly Port Multiplier Enclosure on Hackintosh?

    Hello All,

I am curious if anyone out there has had any success using the Lycom 4 port PCIe SATAII card and a Burly enclosure on a Hackintosh. i.e. A non Apple Mac like the one documented here: http://lifehacker.com/5351485/how-to...tart-to-finish

I am currently working on a project using this setup on a newer MacPro 8-core but that machine will be relinquished soon. I don't have the funds to buy a new MacPro, even the lowest model, and was curious about doing a Hackintosh setup since they have become more popular and the user base has been widening.

Anyone out there using a setup like this? Specifically using Final Cut? Would love to hear about your setup and experiences.

    Thanks,

    Nick

Seen a few hackintoshes, but I don't think any of the regulars here are running one. If the are, and have any info, they will post.

Would you like to be the first here? Would like to hear about the project!
