Max HD size- iBook G3 700mhz
anyone know what the maximum hard drive size you can put in a iBook G3 700mhz and/or 900mhz ?
also, can any IDE 2.5" HD work ? i have a new drive sitting here i bought for an IBM but never used.....it looks no different to me.... i was just thinking of formating it externally before installing in another iBook....

Pretty much count on all G3s having a 128 GB maximum indexing capacity. Wasn't until the last Quicksilver G4 that Apple incorporated ATA6 indexing.
