Default Graphics card for G5 Quad

    Hi,
I've got a client with a 2.5ghz G5 Quad and he needs to add a second 30" monitor to it running at full resolution.
I am struggling to find a card that will do it... other than the Quadro FX 4500 which is more than my car is worth!
Most of the cards I've looked at appear to be MacPro only. He's running Tiger, not Leopard, because he has some OS9 software that he HAS to use for his job, just to complicate matters!

    Thanks.

You need to determine if it is a PCIx or a PCIe machine

If PCIx you need to look for a 8x AGP card, I suggest an nVidia 6800 ultra it will run 2 30 inch screens by itself

as for PCIe you will have to wait for someone else to post here

It's the quad so it is PCIe.
As far as I can tell the only one, apart from the incredibly priced 4500, that will do the job is an ATi X1900 but even OWC have sold out of them.
