Default Anybody know about Marathon rack cases?

    Hi,

I'm new here. I'm trying to find some info about Marathon PowerRack G series cases.

I have a G4 500 AGP in one of these cases, and I want to find out if the motherboard from a newer G4 will fit in the case. I know Marathon issued this case for G4 Quicksilvers, but I'm not sure whether a Quicksilver motherboard will go inside this case or not. (Marathon closed their doors a few years ago btw).

    Some info I need is:

Are the motherboards the same size?
Would a G4 AGP power supply work for a Quicksilver?

Any help or tips would be great!! Thanks.

    Stephen

In most cases the answer is "no it's to difficult" just to many differences in voltages, wiring in general, location of items...

Post the brand, model or a link to the case. We'll see how adaptable it is.

I am sure you can ... it's how much work involved.

Default I can help (maybe in more ways than one!)

We have the Digital Audio / Quicksilver case, it is indeed different than the Sawtooth version (ports line up completely different, and there is a different front panel board converter.

I will try and look for the owners manual and email it to you, i think I downloaded all the manuals before Marathon went off the air.

Our Marathon is also for sale in the classifieds, truly not being used any longer as it was replaced with an iTv in our home.
