    Tongue i Tunes visualizers

I rember way back before computers, you could go to radio shack and buy a set of lights that plug in to your sterio and respond directly to the voulme, tone, timber, and channel.

Recently I saw a vilsulizer on a NonMacPC that did the same, or simular.
Having searched for such a mini-software program for the MacPC, and finding none at all,

    the Question: Why not?
this has become a perplexing question for me, that the POWerful Mac "cant" run the program, or people just "cant" write such a program. Or what??

    Thanks,

What you are talking about is called a color organ. They were popular back in the '70s. Basically all it did was split the frequency range of the source material into sections that triggered a corresponding lighting circuit into which you could place colored bulbs.

Sorry, but I'm not aware of any such software or visual plug-ins for iTunes. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist somewhere though.

    Yep,
It was a very basic box with lights that responded to Bass, and Treble.
I doubt if it proccesed mids unless it used a crossover.
Think christmas tree lights in a box....
Probably not hard to build one yourself if you searced a bit.
I think I saw plans for a whole LED Disco Floor in a recenthttp://http://www.popsci.com/popsci/
The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
