    Default WTB...Cheap ATA/IDE card

Bad experiences trying SATA,and on a budget.
I am looking for an inexpensive IDE/ATA card.
No frills, just needs to work with 10.3.9
I have a Miles SCSI card ( works fine w/Panther) if you are interested in a trade...

    Lightbulb

I found FW800 PCI $49 (new) to even outperform ATA on my MDD.

Sorry the SeriTek thing was such a bad good.

I stuck to my SCSI guns after trying off and on to get ATA to act like a decent interface (failure in my book). Which is how I came to also have half a dozen plus SCSI cards.

I hear you TZ, if somebody told me a few years back that would be interested in ATA over SCSI I would not have believed them.
Thanks rguising, a Sonnet ATA card would be cool..

    Thanks for checking.
    I may have found a work-around,
might not be done with SCSI after all.
