Default Selling some great things G3/500, Miles U2W, 10K Cheetah's

Well the time has come. I am going to sell it all "as is" or part it out. I'll keep it a few more weeks and before I start. Let this forum look things over before I eBay things. I have tons of older OS 9.x hardware/software.

    Items for sale:
    • 7500 - the original 100MHz processor also
    • XLR8 G3/500 running at 520MHz, Carrier card and zif - Manuals, disks
    • 512MB RAM - All 60ns FPM 2 - 128's, 2 - 64MB's, 4 - 32MB's DIMMs
    • Internal CD-ROM 12X - Swapped it with another Mac
    • Internal 3.5" floppy
    • 4 MB VRAM on board video memory
    • VooDoo 3/3000 PCI Graphics card, drivers, updates
    • Miles U2W host card - all software, manuals the cable looks to have seen better days but the only one I've used or have.
    • 2 - 18 Gig 10K SCSI Cheetah's ST318405LW
    • Belkin USB PCI Card - never tested it. I have all original disks, manuals, etc.
    • FW USB PCI card
    • External Sony SCSI CDRW 8X/4X/32X SCSI with cable - it is an internal put into a Yamaha case. I bought it like this and it's worked great.
    • Apple Keyboard and mouse
    • Kensington Turbo Mouse
    • Epson color printer - needs ink

It was a blast and seems funny that it nearly worthless after all that time and money.

So leave a post, again I won't do much until a few weeks. But if I get a feel for what or if people need/want any of this I'll save it.

    Randy,
I would be interested in your cheetahs and the miles2, assuming they would be workable into a B&W. What are you thinking of selling them for?

bif, No real clue... but it's time to move some things. I am leaving this afternoon and will be back on Monday the 30th. The Miles U2W and Cheetahs are worth more than the rest of it I bet.

I'll post or email when back in town.

    Default XLR8 & ram

    Hi Randy,

I would be interested in the G3 card, the 2 128meg ram sticks and the firewire/USB card. Let me know what you want for them and postage to Montreal, Canada.

    Thanks,

    Herman

Mostly a curiosity question, but were you booting off the Initio and those SCSI drives?

Yes in OS 9.1 on my 7500 XLR8 G3/500. I only use the 2 Cheetah's in the 7500 on the same bus, on the Miles card and do boot off both of them. - Randy

Been nuts.. damn DA cashed I thought I might have blown 2 of em .. it's now fixed up and running. and the QS looks much more bootable. A dream come true.

So let me get back to packaging looking for everything (CD, Manuals etc.)and figure postage. - Randy

    HJS

I have sold nothing but did obligate the Miles U2W and 140K Chetah's to another member.

I had a computer go bad so I used the G3/500 a little longer than expected while I was swapping hardware between 2 G4's.

OK, I have everything you mention. The XLR8 I bought used running at 520 MHz (from a fella Moderator) and I was running a XLR8 G3/400 in a 7500 at the time. So I put it in and... no problems it is running just fine at G3/520 MHz.

The Sony CDRW is not bootable or iTunes compatible. Not many bootable SCSI drives around. Works great with Toast.

I was just thinking I need to get it broken down and boxed up.

Still want the drives and Miles? My QS and DA adventure is ending I think. So I can erase the drives for you and pack them really really good - they be heavy.

Let me know here or email.... - Randy

    Randy,
I had almost forgotten about this idea. Yes, let me know what the total is and how you want to transact payment.
Glad your adventure is near an end - now you can start the next one!!

Arrow Need anything... get it now. Fits most 7200 - 9600

I am trying to move it all out. The 7500/G3/500. So if you see something you like, want, need I'll send it for virtually shipping (maybe a box) if needed but very little more. I should soon have 2 G4's and won't need the G3.

I should or hope to have my QS back running in 3/4 weeks or less. Fingers crossed. - Randy

Here.... It is all together now but will pull what you need out.
    • 7500 - empty with extra logic board
    • The original 100MHz 603 processor
    • 512MB RAM - All 60ns FPM 2 - 128's, 2 - 64MB's, 4 - 32MB's DIMMs
    • Internal CD-ROM 12X - Swapped it with another Mac
    • Internal 3.5" floppy
    • 4 - 1 MB VRAM sticks - on board video memory (install in pairs)
    • VooDoo 3/3000 PCI Graphics card, drivers, updates
    • Belkin USB PCI Card - never tested it. I have all original disks, manuals, etc.
    • FW USB PCI card
    • External Sony SCSI CDRW 8X/4X/32X SCSI with cable - it is an internal put into a Yamaha case. I bought it like this and it's worked great.
    • Apple Keyboard and mouse
    • Kensington Turbo Mouse
    • Epson color printer - needs ink
