    Talking G3 B&W painted black

    Hello,

just some pictures from my painted G3 B&W.

The painting: The worst thing was getting off those Apple's on the sides

Fan Mod: Temp dropped down by 4 dergees C

Using it with an Apple Pro keyboard (black),
a black LogiTech Pilot mouse and a 17" black Sony LCD.

    Upgrades after the painting:

Radeon Mac Edition (replacing the R128DVD and the Pro FormanceIII)
ATTO UW connected to one 18GB Cheetah
80GB IBM ATA (from my MDD)
    LocalTalk connector
    512MB RAM

    To be continued............

    Regards

    Nicolas

    Very nice.

Question: What's the second smaller fan for next to the CPU heatsink?

I thought the GRACKLE (MPC106) was getting really hot and needs a cool breeze too.

    Thanks Kaye and UncleMac

How did you paint around the little apple on the front?
I got my B&W up and running now. Should get the g4-600 today!
I got lucky as it's a rev 2 (But no internal drive rack)

    Sah-weet!

All it needs now is some flames, and billet hardware.

    hey Nic -

    I'm really disappointed.

You still have that "warranty void if seal is broken" sticker in place.

Or maybe I should ask...how do you get those suckers off and then back on again one piece?
