I have a PowerMac7500 with a G3 upgrade with 192Megs of Ram i got off ebay. I can't get video out to my monitor. I have tried un plugging everything and taking out Pram battery. I also tried lowering the clock speed of the processor(or at least I think I did if when you lower the clock to bus ratio by flipping jumpers it lowers the clockspeed). And i tried putting in a Matrox 8Meg 64-bit video card but it didn't work.I just noticed that my ROM was missing and i'm wandering if that may have anything to do with no video. If not, any ideas?

The empty ROM sockets were put there to use updated ROM chips that were never released. There are ROM chips soldered to the board.

I once thought the same thing about my 8600.

How much VRAM is on the board, and which OS are you using?

Ohhh ok so it's nothing to do with the ROM.

I have 2 megs of VRAM on the board, and i tried to pute a Matrox 8Meg 64-bit video card in it.

As for the OS I'm not sure which OS it is. frome the day it arived from the ebay seller i haven't got any video out of it.(I think it was suposed to be OS 8.5 or 8.6 but ime not sure)
