I got stupid and trashed my Audio MIDI Setup utility or CoreAudio app. I did not make an alias and placed it on the desktop and when I restarted my iMac it was just a question mark. Doh!

Well I went to support discussions and was advised to reinstall 10.2.3 and then 10.2.6. I tried installing 10.2.3 and got this message: "You cannot install this software on this disk. This volume does not meet the requirements for this update." but it let me reinstall 10.2.6 (don't know if I was supposed to do that again before 2.3 ?)

I won't drag on this problem but I use my Mac for audio and midi and just want my nifty CoreAudio utility back without destroying my entire OS. Any suggestions that work would save my behive.
