I took my I-Mac 400 with OS 9.0.4 in for repair and in the course of things, they had to upgrade to OS 9.1.. Later, when downloading a later version of techtool lite, I found that IE had put it in an invisible folder named "TheVolumeSettingsFolder". Is there some way to retrieve it or will it cause problems if I have to leave it there?

If you have Resedit get info on the folder and make it visable. Then remove the app to the utilities folder in the applications folder.
