I have a couple Macs at my workplace I'm suppose to take care of but I'm having a problem with one of them.

I am not too familiar with the MACs, the error message I get occurs immediately after bootup as soon as it shows the desktop I get "Finder quit unexpectedly, please restart" Of course you restart and the same thing happens.

    How can I fix that?

    L4,

It sounds like the Finder Preferences may be corrupted. Start from a system floppy or CD. Drag Finder Preferences to the Trash and reboot. Or the Finder itself or the System suitcase could be corrupted. k

I already tried trashing the finder prefs and the system prefs, to no avail. I also reloaded Mac OS on top of everything also to no avail. (Did not do a FULL reinstall yet)
