I have a G3 Powerbook and it has problems starting-up. Many times it initially powers on, but then hangs up. I am then forced to pull the plug and/or battery and push the re-start switch on the back before it will come back.

    Any fixes to this?

so many possibilities....it would be nice if you could just take it to visit a local Guru for a little work.

Hmmm - indeed - lots of possibilities - have you tried the PowerManager Reset patch that Apple released?

I have a problem like that one where it would stall.. I think I zapped the PRAM a few times, tried booting off Norton CD etc.. - the usual fixes. At least in this case, you aren't dealing with the potential of SCSI voodoo...

    Which Powerbook?.

    Powerbook G3 Yosemite.

It must be a PowerManager issue. I understand there was a fix released by Apple for PowerManager. Does anyone know where I can find it?
