    I'm helping a friend setup a (mostly, if not all) wireless LAN for cable internet in his house. It consists of an iMac G3-350, an iBook G3-600, a 9600-350, and an HP Pavillion 7900. The cable from the street will go into a cable modem. Airport cards for the iMac and iBook....a wireless pci card for the HP....everything communicating with an Airport Base Station.
    My questions are:
    Should I hardwire the usb-equipped 9600 with an ethernet cable to the cable modem or Airport Base Station, and forget about a wireless pci card for it, or use a usb wireless rig?
    Is there a wireless pci card for the 9600 that will work with Airport? In my research, I cannot seem to find a non-usb wireless solution for the 9600.
    Any advice would be greatly appreciated. This is my first network 'job'!

    Since you have a six PCI slots to play with, a PCI wireless adapter is a possibility as well. I've used them in various machines and they seem to work well.

    Asant? has one available;

    Hope this helps..
