I am enrolled in school and can legitimately purchase academic softare. (Just bought Dreamweaver and Freehand). Are the academic versions of QuarkXpress, Photoshop, and Maya identical to the full versions?

    Thanks!

I don't have an answer for you, but my first suggestion would be to contact Quark, Adobe, and whoever makes Maya software. They would have first-hand knowledge.

    Good luck.

Usually, yes. Take advantage of all the academic pricing while you can... that's what it's for. Hopefully you have the money to acquire the big guns you mentioned so you can keep upgrading once you're out of skool.
Those licenses are full licenses, no difference from regular. Just price.
