unclemac, Interested in the • nVidia GeForce 4 Ti 4600 128MB AGP graphics card: $25 - Used this for quite a while in two different G4 towers. Never an issue, until the fan failed. Still runs just fine for desktop use without the fan. I pulled the dying fan because of the noise, so no fan on it now. Score!!! I just got a hold of the ATGs (Apple Technician Guides) for MacBook Pro 13, 15 and 17" late 2009 and spring 2010 models. Ooooooooodles of really neat hardware information in there. I never knew there were four liquid "contact indicators" in the top (behind the keyboard). From the guide: To help discover accidental damage to the computer, the top case includes spill sensors called liquid contact indicators (LCI). The sensors are only visible when the bottom case and most of the modules have been removed. Normally represented by small white dots, the LCIs turn red when they have come in contact with liquid, such as an accidental spill. MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2010) has an extra LCI just below the trackpad set screw, which is not present in the MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2009).
