Hey all / gurus,

I'm looking to add some external storage space to a custom-built Windows Home Server (based on Windows Server 2003). The box has one PCI (old school, not PCI-x or Express) slot open.

Looking at the Lycom PCI-x SATA host card (http://www.macgurus.com/productpages/sata/lycesata4.php), everything sounds like it should work fine-- the card is backwards compatible with PCI and supports Win2k3 Server (which is as close as I'll likely find to Windows Home Server official support).

Does anyone think this would not work for some reason, something I'm not thinking of?

Thanks,
