Greetings--

Last fall I ordered one of the SATA firewire enclosures that MacGurus started carrying. Can't believe I've filled up that gigantic drive, but now I'm looking to take advantage of its hot-swapping capability. Just want to double-check, though, that these are the things I need to get to extend the functionality of the
Burly Hotswap Single Drive Firewire Enclosure .

BurlyHS-b-t - Standard SATA Drive Tray $19.50

0A33437 - Hitachi T7K500 500 GB SATAII HD 16MB Cache $224.25

Does that look like it will work? I get the drive and the enclosure, assemble it, and then just pop it in?

Thanks so much for your guru help---
MJ

It will work perfectly. It will probably come already assembled, safer to ship with the drive inside. Depends on who packages though, I suppose. Even so, 5 minutes to be up and running.
