Just wondering if anyone is using this card for video capture ? I have a MDD dual 1GHz with max 2 Gb Ram, standard 64 Mb video card, dual CRT monitors and a new 160 Gb HD to store vid files on . I am waiting on this card to come in the post and want to pick up any hints/tips etc before I start to digitise all my home movies from mini VHS tapes to digital. I am aware someone has written an OSX driver so I am looking forward to this project. I will probably use iMovie for some simple titling and not much more.
Stewie.

I find this quite interesting.
Keep us posted on how this works out.
I might have to try and get one.
I love new software forced to marry older hardware!

For anyone interested in the OSX driver I was talking about here is the link.

I'm not sure if it works with other similar cards as well.
Don't hold your breath Hazkell , I am still to put in the new (secondhand ) CPU into this machine. One burnt out on me a few months back and I only just got the new one in the mail.I may have to do a cooling mod as well. I'll keep you posted on progress though. I'm like you I love being able to run older stuff with newer. I have my serial Canon BJ 4550 A3 printer ( 1997 ) still churning out docs plugged into my MDD !
Cheers , Stewie.

I'm still using my Epson ES-1200C scanner (1995).
Still running strong on my 9600/G3-500 .... with Photoshop 6.
I need to find a few RGB bulbs .... before these "give the ship".

Lets keep this thread alive untill we have the answer on this DC30 card!

I think I'll start doing some searchs .... start with eBay.
