Hello,I am new to OSX...
I am using an old Imac tray-loader with a 80 gig HD as my music server on my network. The Imac is running OS9.1. with a 10 GIG partition for OS9.1,
and the rest for music /Mp3's.I am intersted in installing OSX/ Panther on this machine but...
You can only install Panther onto an Imac in a partition of less than 8 Gigs.
So ITunes would not be able to hold my music library.
Works great as is using Sound App PPC for playlists etc.
Just wondering if there is an OSX Itunes work-around.
I hope I made sense here..haha

You can easily relocate the iTunes music library in preferences>advanced>iTunes music folder location.

You can relocate the entire /Users folder too, but that's a bit more work.
