A couple of weeks ago I caught a fever and decided to trade in my Epson 4800 and 2200 for the new Canon IPF 5000. It has been quite a learning curve and time suck but the prints are real nice and I can go back and forth between Glossy and Matt papers without any fuss.

One real interesting feature of the 5000 is its ability to print in 12bit color instead of the usual 8bit of the Epson printers. The problem is that in order to print in 12bit, you have to bypasses the Photoshop RIP and use the Canon RIP which means that you cannot print out those nice corner crop marks that makes it so easy to trim the paper down to the right size after printing.

Any suggestions of hold to get my crop marks back?
