Hello,

just moved your thread to this forum (deleted the two others).

Please do not post the same question more than once, cuz you'll get answers in all and you have to grab all infos together.

If you start a new thread just choose a category which fits most.

Back to your ?

I guess you'll need QT Pro to do it or a third party application.

Main ? is how big is your project?

BTW How is your "drives externalizing" (http://www.macgurus.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21404) going?
Did the posts help you a bit?

Best regards

Nicolas

I have just been working in iMovie HD extensively over the past few weeks, converting analog home movies to digital formate and saving them as DV files for later editing and other use. There are several options for format when exporting a video clip, and they result in different sizes. Depending on how big a file you are starting with, you might be able to select one that is 9 MB or less. Without know how large your original video is I could not answer.
I just tested exporting a 45 MB file using QT Pro and saved it at 15 FPS down to 8.5 MB
Just to give an idea, but that was using QT, not iMovie.
