Can any one tell me what size APS to use for A Screen, Katana 20" Image Setter. Also anyone with any news about Poka Dots, Pre-Page-it. the low rez for proofs seems really rotten. They don't seem to come out well on our Okidata, color printer.

You meant......

Automatic Protection Switch = A redundancy Ethernet connection?
Automatic Power Switch or an Uninteruptable Power Supply?

If you meant UPS than this should help:

Our Agfa Avantra44 CTF draws up to 2000W (2KW) including the Rip+CRT, a CTP thermal platesetter (Creo Trendsetter or Lotem) draws up to 7.5KW!

Take a look at the manual or technical specifications You need to know how much Watt it draws durring imaging.

APC have a configurator on their website for 2KW I got 3 results:

No, sorry.

The low rez for proofs seems really rotten. They don't seem to come out well on our Okidata, color printer.
Inkjet-printer with EFI (formaly BEST) RIP.

For colormatching FOGRA proofs we are using an older Iris 4print and for large form proofs the Trendsetter and a CP Z3000RIP+IR3220 for "normal" proofs and small runs.
