View Full Version : Need to remove softraid drivers !help!

OK heres the deal I need to remove the softraid drivers from 2 scsi drives I have them in the machine but they dont come up I useing OS X on the machine. I can boot into 9.2.1 if need be. I tried to reformatt them in OS X but no drives come up. I just want to reformat to apple's drivers. I looked on the softraid website and in the readme's but found nothing. thanks for the help. You will probably have to boot OS 9 and use drive setup to format them for OS 9 the reboot X and then they should show up in disk utility

ATTO has a utility called ExpressProTools that has an erase funtion. It's available here:
ftp://ftp.macgurus.com/ftp/atto_stuff/

Beware, all data is TOAST when you erase a drive and or it's driver/partition map.. The drives will show up uninitialized in OSX after erasing.
