Has anyone booted OS X from a HDT RAID? I've booted X from a single SoftRAID HFS+ volume, but have yet to try a RAID. In light of the fact that SoftRAID array volumes are not accessible from OS X, I'm wondering if HDT is more capable. I have v. 4.0, but haven't tried OS X on its array yet.

Only HDT 4.5 is 9.1 compliant and 4.0 had a lot of trouble with the public beta and 9.1. As for SoftRAID, risky at best to install OS X. Before venturing, check the web sites of both, there's a note on OSX. And OS X 10.1 will have built-in RAID so wait another few weeks or whatever. HDT 4.0 is like two years old by now.
