Any quick advice on how to get drivers for two FWB PCI SCSI Jackhammer cards. I just moved them from a 9500 into a B+W G3. Assuming I find the drivers are there any other issues I need to think about? Firmware?

Thanks,

You can get the current driver/control panel from the MacGuru ftp site (Version 1.4.5) (ftp://ftp.macgurus.com/ftp/fwb_stuff/PCI%20JackHammer%81%201.4.5.).

To flash the ROM to 1.4.5, start by booting from the ATA drive with the control panel installed while holding Command-Option-J-H to disable the card. When you open the control panel, it will ask if you want flash the card.

I do not think that card is supported past 9.02 - but I have heard it can work. Not sure how reliable it is long term. It does not sound trouble free. GL

The PCI JackHammer works fine in 9.1 and I expect in a newworld machine, it would continue to work in 9.2.1. It will not work in any version of OS X.

I used it in 9.1 until just a few weeks ago, when I got my Miles2.
