I'm not a Videophile - just want to ask the experts...

Ive got a beige G3 and I want to add a 2nd monitor, I know I need to purchase a 2nd video card (one that supports PC monitors), But I don't know what kind I NEED. Sure I can go to compUSA and spend $150 on the latest card, but thats a bit more than I need.
My 2nd monitor is an old PC freebie crapper, but it'll be great to store all my Director palattes and timeline on! I just need a card that will make it work.

Thanks for any advice!

Pretty much any card will do. If you're considering running OS X on your machine any time in the future, stay away from the cheap Voodoo cards available. They will never work on OS X.

Probably the cheapest cards you'll find that will work in OS X (unaccelerated) are any used of the IMS or ixMicro cards like TwinTurbo or ix3D (UltimateRes).
