hello all,

title pretty much says it all. looking for a unpopulated carrier card for a lower speed G3 zif. will be going into a 7300-7600 series machine.

also looking for a G3 zif to populate it.

looking for and upgrading another machine for a friend as a gift, so cheapness in price is of a concern. any help appreciated.

thanks
kj

I don't have a CarrierZIF available, but I do have a working PowerForce G3 250MHz/512KB card that's been tested to run reliably at up to 270MHz in a C600 (9500 Clone). Make me an offer if you want it.

las vegas,

thanks for the reply. is that powerforce the carrier and zif? having trouble finding a carrier on the cheap whereas zif's are seemingly a dime a dozen.

thanks
kj

No. This is the PowerForce with the G3 chip soldered into the board. While it's not further expandable, it would make a cheap and worthwhile upgrade from any 604 processor.
