Hi all

Here's a good one = I can't seem to figure it out.

Situation - OS X 10.1 - all is well - when the machine has a fixed IP and is on the LAN, both administrators and users can see my ASIP server via AppleTalk

When I have a DHCP license AND I'm behind a firewall, only when I'm logged in as administrator can I see my ASIP server. Any other user - I get an Appleshare error.

Any ideas?

Thanks

probably already well beyond this thought, but wortha try ya know. When you are behind the firewall, are the network settings for your non admin users the same as your admin settings? I use DHCP on an ethernet behind a firewall, not quite the same setup at all, but that was an issue I ran into with my different users, not having all the correct settings for all the different users.

Thanks - I'll take a look - for some reason it now works - I don't get it unless it was just a problem w/ the firewall taking a while to validate stuff...

Will investigate
