Here's another one:

Disk Burner isn't installed on my Beige G3 by default (no onboard USB obviously). System Profiler recognizes my Firewire/USB combo card and sees the HP cd12 CDRW on the FireWire bus AND lists it as Apple DiscBurner supported. iTunes tells me there is 'no cd burning software installed' instead of the usual 'no supported burners'. Can I install Disc Burner seperately, and will it add the burning support to iTunes? Anyone done this yet? (I love my 'partially' supported Beige G3 http://macgurus.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I have Disc Burner running fine on my PTP (9500 Clone) with a Sony SCSI CD/RW drive but only in OS 9.1. OS X does not handle it, nor does it work in the hacked 9.2.1.
