Anyone have word on if or when these boards will be supported for OS X?

I think all the boards are X/9 compatible with the latest firmware (maybe they shipped with this originally). I do not have one and I do not have X on my home system now, because of my Voodoo card. I just got a RADEON, so now I can run dual displays http://macgurus.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I only have an AdaptecU2b http://macgurus.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Its not supported by Adaptec http://macgurus.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I got one of the U2B's and it is fine. Also just added the Radeon (OS X seems faster or screens are smoother) but some people think Radeon isn't 100% stable - 'course they oc'd and maxed out to the gills w/ 3rd party hardware. OS X is picky about RAM and CPU specs I'd say. Not worth it for a few extra cycles. But you can't have too much RAM.

I'm glad to hear ATTO should be okay. I'd like to put the U2b in 7600 if possible and put the ATTO in yos case.

I just picked up a 15 lb seagate monster (9GB) that is almost the size of IIci - looks like an old DEC unit or something. A case for two drives (OWC, really well built metal housing) that is filled by this one monster.

I have a UL3D that is working fine. Better than working, it is booting X, and therefore getting me off the 10mbps bus.

I have the 1.6.4 firmware, 10.0.4, and a 9600...

X has attained usability (although I won't be using it too much until it supports my mp3 RAID).
