Somewhere on a 68 pin DIMM there's a number that tells you whether it's 60 or 70 nanosecond. Where is it? Thanks...

I believe that the center chip will have numbers on it, one of them ending in -60, -6, 6, or -70,-7,7. 6=60ns 7=70ns

I assume you mean 168 - pin? All the actual memory chips should have that marking on it. In my experience, it is only the center chip (controller?) that doesn't have the marking on it.

Eric has the rest of it down pat. Heck, maybe he's got it all down pat, but my sticks all have the markings on the individual chips all over the module. http://macgurus.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

DSMan, I think that you're right... I got my memory squared away with so long ago that I haven't looked at them again! :-)
