I'm looking for a good buy on an internal cdrw drive, I've been looking, and found some dirt cheap Cyberdrive CDRW drives. Does anyone know if these will work? howa bout samsung? I'm pretty much just looking for a 16xsomethingx32(seeing as how finding cheap media above 16x writable is tough).

any help would be nice, thanks!

Stay away from CyberDrives. They work. But not reliably and mine broke down in less than 6 months. Any ATAPI CDRW will work for your system. Some better than others. Sony and Plextor are the best. I've found with CDRWs that the old adage still applies, "You get what you pay for."

so, what about X compadibility? i've been looking some more too, i've found 16x10x40 cyberdrive int ide's for around 37$. i've also found some "OptoDrives" for about the same, those any better? all in all i might just go for something a little higher priced, like a Teac or Sony, or even Plextor. Thanks lv!
