I currently have a 45GB 7200rpm drive in my MT. I want to hook up my old 6GB 5400rpm drive in it also. Does it matter where I put it? Terminating HDs IDE bus? Terminating the CD drive's IDE bus? Before one of them? Does it matter?

There is no termination for an IDE/ATA drive. If there is a master drive on the channel, you will need to set the second drive to slave. Some drives have settings with Master-No Slave present, so you may have to change the jumpers on the stock drive.

Your system should be able to handle a total of 4 IDE/ATA devices. Usually the CD rom is on one ATA/IDE channel and the HD is on the other. I would assume both are set to master. If you have a built-in ZIP that is normally set to slave on the same channel as the CD-ROM.
