Could you point me to the correct HD for a G4 including cables and brackets..Guru's sell???

The G4's have space for 2 IDE drives in the bracket in the bottom. There is a few good resources for stepping you through it. Not sure where. I will look if you need them. But the items you need are very few. I believe it is just a drive and the screws. The cable should have an extra connector on it and (like I said) the bracket should be there already. If not, well, you still shouldn't need it, for there are locations for 2 other drives in the bottom. As far as the actual drives, yes the Gurus sell them. Standard issue IDE/ATA items found here:

right. All he needs is a raw drive. The power and IDE data cable are already in the machine. You install a new IDE drive on top of the old one, in the stacked bracket towards the rear of the chassis.
