Can experienced users please suggest the best book/video/website for me to study to get up to speed asap with my Mac blue and white G3? Thanks, Sherry

Hi Sherry,

Well, your at the best site I've ever found for tech, upgrade and general info. Just how much of a novice are you? Is this your first Mac? Computer?

The Bible books always seem good (OS 9.0 Bible, PhotoShop 6.0 Bible, etc.).

Ted Landau's "Sad Macs, Bombs and Other Disasters", 4th Ed, Peachpit Press is a good one.

Online resources....TRy the Apple Site for tech specs, manuals, knowledge base and other info...Provides a good overview of Apple products and specific knowledge for the G3 B&W re essential information concerning system requirements, configuration, upgrade paths, issues......I have "allways" found the T.I.L. (Technical Info. Library), Specifications, and Knowledge Base useful resources.
http://www.apple.com/support/

The Gurus' "Gateway" (www.macgurus.com (http://www.macgurus.com)) links to MoB diagrams and system config. overview and is stashed away in plain sight in th eupper left corner under topic "Memory Upgrades" ....subtopic LOgicBoard Diagrams...click and you are up and away...

Good Luck and very cool 'puter...
