What does single ended mean? Along these lines, can I run external and internal drives off of one Miles2 card?

First. Seagate has a great FAQ section. Here is one page that I have emailed to a TON of people:
http://www.seagate.com/support/kb/disc/scsirev.html

But a good description of what Single-Ended is all about is here:

Yes, you can run internal AND external items off of a Miles2. But, with all SCSI controllers, your fastest drives will ONLY operate at the speed of the slowest item. So if you have an Ultra160 hard drive and a plain old CD ROM drive, the maximum throughput of any item on the bus will be the speed of the CD drive. Help you out any?

These issues (http://www.macgurus.com/graphics/mgwhichscsiadapters5.html) are discussed (http://www.macgurus.com/graphics/mgwhichscsiadapters4.html) in the SCSI Pages of Doom.
