I'm planning on buying an apple 17" LCD to run along-side my 19" LaCie CRT monitor. I have a G4/867 with the standard nVideo card (geForce2 MX in the AGP slot). I've got some choices - buy some kind of twin-head AGP card to replace my current card or add a PCI card such as Radeon. I don't want to break the bank and I rarely play games using 3d accelleration. Another issue is that the new card has to play nicely with OSX and the existing nVidea card and I'd like to take best advantage of the new acceleration in OS 10.2.

Recommendations?

...then you probably want to have Quartz Extreme support for your work? which would preculde anything non-AGP.

With new video cards from ATI coming out this fall, you might want to look into one of those twin-headed models.

If you do go PCI, the Apple OEM Radeon PCI (2001, not 7000) is still around.
