Hi
It's been upgraded with a second 20GB IDE drive and PCI controller, a Sonnet G3 450MHz/1M Processor and 200MB RAM...

Now I'm looking for some sort of graphics acceleration, and, of course I'm not very bright in this area!

I've been told There are no graphics cards for this model but I'm after a second opinion as I don't want to give up on this baby just yet..

Thanks for your time...

Usually with a G3 upgrade you need some sort of PCI video card.
Have you checked out the upgrade database on www.xlr8yourmac.com? (http://www.xlr8yourmac.com?)
One option is the UltimateRez - available from OWC even though the
company is on longer works fine. If you can find a PCI Radeon (2001) -
but not the Radeon 7000 maybe - I don't know if that will work or not.

I put an Apple OEM Rage 128 in mine.

Well - actually, regardless of the processor upgrade, you will have to get a PCI video card for that machine.

Depending on what you are planning on using the machine for, your graphics needs could be variously met by eBays sellers or buy new from your local vendor. I've put Radeons in my 7300 vintage machines and have had no problem.

What do you want to use the machine for?
