Has any had/solved any of the courrupted display issues with the Mac Radeon PCI cards? I recently installed one in my rev. 1 BW G3, installed their ROM update and recent drivers and have been having display corruption in Quark, Illustrator and IE along with random system hangs while moving images.

Thanks!

Hi...

What OS are you using? and is this your only video card?

I've got Radeons in a number of both OS 9.1 and OS X machines, some as dual card systems and haven't seen any serious problems. (Running both Radeon PCI and Radeon 7000)

It's OS 9.2.2, only card. G3 has a PL 550 ZIF in it and 1 gb ram. I've seen some issues posted on xlr8yourmac's forms but not many solutions. whne card was in my 8500 I never had any issues like this.

Couple ideas to try: using something else (xlr8's speed control) rather than powerlogix's; slowing it down to 500/200 MHz and see if that is better.

I thought I read on xlr8yourmac about a conflict with the powerlogix extensions. Same with ATI drivers, if having trouble with the March 2002, drop back to an earlier version.

Thanks....I was thinking of using the XLR8 drivers (actually bought them to use with my Sonnet G4 PCI). Contacted XLR8 today because I misplaced serial number. Good to know there is a known conflict and that I may already have the solution. FYI I backed down to the Raeden 1.1.1 drivers and CPU down to 500, so far so good. Currently testing the 1.1.1 at 550. Ah the fun!
